Dave Davis is GM, Protege Media at Protege, where Dave leads audiovisual licensing to generative AI companies. Prior to Protege, Dave was co-founder and CEO of Calliope Networks, which was acquired by Protege. Prior to Calliope Networks,  Dave held entertainment industry positions at 20thCentury Fox, NBCUniversal, Paramount Pictures  and the Motion Picture Association. Dave began his career as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York, and as a corporate lawyer at Gunderson Dettmer in Silicon Valley. Dave holds a BA from Wesleyan University and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School. Dave is a member of the California bar and sits on the Copyright Society’s AI sub-committee.
